Every year, hundreds of people including ALS patients, families, friends, volunteers, and corporate leaders join together to raise funds in support of the local ALS Clinics where they provide patient service programs and the latest trials in clinical research. Benefitting the Georgia Regents Medical Center ALS Clinic, please join us for the BEAT FEET for ALS event on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Augusta Riverwalk.  Register your team on-line and make your donations.

Registration begins at 8:00 AM and the Opening Ceremony starts at 9:30 AM. The walk is approximately 3 miles and will include music, snacks, and fun activities for the whole family.

To show support, ALS walk shirts are worn; however, many teams create custom T-shirts to show their enthusiasm and team pride.

Last year was our BEST WALK EVER thanks to you all!!!  We had more than 400 people show up to support this event; and, that does not include the people that registered on-line just to donate.  With the support of all these people- we were able to raise a gross total of over $141,000!!!  So far, with those funds- we have donated over $6,000 to the ALS Association of SC, over $6,000 to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), over $12,000 to the ALS Association of Ga, $20,000 went directly to equipment for ALS research trials, $3,000 has gone directly back to ALS patients and families via gift cards, and new this year- $10,000 will be donated to the Augusta ALS Fund, which will take requests to fill the needs of our patients (i.e. wheelchair ramps, equipment, home modifications, and/or other things like this).

We could only make that happen because of YOU and we THANK YOU for your support!!!
